More baby stuff

We had our couples baby shower last weekend hosted by my wonderful friend Heather! It was great to see everyone and get to visit. I was enjoying myself so much I didn't get many pictures but we did have great company! We got TONS of stuff for the baby,and Frank got some daddy gifts too. Frank has worked this week on assembling things while I finished washing all the baby stuff and organizing it.
We have started the count down with 7 weeks left until we get to see baby Landon!! I am excited but nervous at the same time.

Family Baby Shower

We had a Wonderful Family shower in Arlington yesterday. It was great to see old friends and family! We recieved lots of great gifts and baby Landon is sure to love them.
We now have the bed set up in the nursery and the baby stuff has started to take over our bedroom as well. We love it!

First Baby Shower

This weekend we drove to Houston for our first baby shower despite the horrible weather and busted water pipe at Frank's moms house.
The wonderful ladies who throw it did an incredible job. The cake was lovely and all the presents were exactly what we needed, thanks everyone! We had fun unpacking and setting it all up once we got home, the nursery is starting to fill up!

Nursery

Here are some pictures of our nursery. We are using our study downstairs as the baby room. We started with cleaning out the boxes and painting it a tan color. When the crib and armoire were finally delivered they looked great. We found some art work with the same finish as the furniture at a craft show with crosses like we like and fitting bible verses. We still have stuff to add such as my rocker and the chest of drawers needs to be painted to match everything but it is coming along nicely.
The armoire and chest of drawers are already full of clothes thanks to hand me downs from my cousin! It excites me to go in the room and see it as it progresses. Tomorrow is our first shower and I am sure we will have lots to add later this weekend.

In the beginning

Frank and I meet at Prestonwood and Married on May 3rd 2008. We moved into a new house at the end of July 2009. We found out the first week of August we were expecting our first child and later learned it was a little boy. We have decided on Landon Jacob Reeves for a name and anticipate his arrival on March 19th. We have showers coming soon and the baby stuff has begun to take over! We hope you will check the blog periodically!
